AIM | To ensure validity, credibility, and consistency in application of the NATO Medical Evaluation Manual (MEM) tool during the evaluation process. |
TRAINING AUDIENCE | Appropriately qualified staff from NATO Command/Force Structure, Lead Nation (LN) and Troop Contributing Nations (TCNs) primarily involved in evaluation and certification of Multinational Medical Unit assigned to a NATO Command. In addition, anyone involved in military medical education, training, and evaluation. |
LEARNING OBJECTIVES | LO 1 be familiar with capability based modular approach of multinational medical support to NATO operations LO 2 have knowledge of medical evaluation process within the framework of validation and certification LO 3 be able to evaluate medical modules as an evaluation team leader/member |
PREREQUISITE | Computer skills: Students should be familiar with MS Office. |
METHODOLOGY | Interactive lectures, practical tasks, mini exercise. |
LANGUAGE | Language proficiency: English according to STANAG 6001 3.2.3.2 (listening/speaking/reading/writing) |
ATTENDANCE | Participants are expected to attend all course activities as the intense program does not allow for absences during the course. Late arrivals or early departures cannot be accepted. Certificate for successful completion shall not be awarded in case absences are recorded. |
REGISTRATION | Mandatory online registration should be completed as soon as possible, but no later than 4 weeks prior to the course. |
COURSE FEE | For sponsoring nations: 310 Euros |
CANCELLATION | Cancellation of participation is only possible with a 3-week notice prior to the start date of the course. The entire course fee is due past the afore-mentioned period. |
