Level 200
AIMTo ensure validity, credibility, and consistency in application of the NATO Medical Evaluation Manual (MEM) tool during the evaluation process.
TRAINING AUDIENCE
Appropriately qualified staff from NATO Command/Force Structure, Lead Nation (LN) and Troop Contributing Nations (TCNs) primarily involved in evaluation and certification of Multinational Medical Unit assigned to a NATO Command. In addition, anyone involved in military medical education, training, and evaluation.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES
LO 1 be familiar with capability based modular approach of multinational medical support to NATO operations
LO 2 have knowledge of medical evaluation process within the framework of validation and certification
LO 3 be able to evaluate medical modules as an evaluation team leader/member
PREREQUISITE

Computer skills: Students should be familiar with MS Office.
Other pre-requisites: Medical background
Pre-reading material: AMedP 1.6, 1.7 and 1.8 belonging to STANAG 2560, Evaluation of NATO Medical Treatment Facility.

METHODOLOGY
Interactive lectures, practical tasks, mini exercise.
LANGUAGE
Language proficiency: English according to STANAG 6001 3.2.3.2 (listening/speaking/reading/writing)
ATTENDANCE

Participants are expected to attend all course activities as the intense program does not allow for absences during the course. Late arrivals or early departures cannot be accepted.

Certificate for successful completion shall not be awarded in case absences are recorded.

REGISTRATION

Mandatory online registration should be completed as soon as possible, but no later than 4 weeks prior to the course.
The required minimum for course conduct is 12 participants, and the maximum 27 participants (depends on the Host Nation)

COURSE FEE

For sponsoring nations: 310 Euros
For non-sponsoring nations: 450 euros

CANCELLATION
Cancellation of participation is only possible with a 3-week notice prior to the start date of the course. The entire course fee is due past the afore-mentioned period.
