MEDEVAL

One of the Key activities of the MILMED COE is the NATO Medical Evaluation. (MEDEVAL)

On request, The Training Branch organises or supports, all NATO Medical Evaluations. Training Branch can take the Lead evaluator position and create a Medical Evaluation Team with NATO certified Medical Evaluators. The whole process, planning, execution and reporting will be conducted by Training Branch with the support of the multi-national team of Medical Evaluators.

When time permits, Training Branch can assist, and or organize, national or multi-national Medical Evaluations as well.
Training Branch actively supports the to be evaluated units in the whole process leading to a MEDEVAL. That can be with extra education, with a Mobile Training Team, advisory visits to the unit, a pre-evaluation to identify the key issues prior to the real MEDEVAL, and or tailor-made support programs for the to be evaluated unit.
Training Branch actively works together with SHAPE/Partnership Directorate/Operational Capability Concept/Evaluations and feedback section, for the Medical evaluation of Partner Nations Medical capabilities.
