Level 300 - Advanced
AIMTo provide the knowledge and skills needed to effectively manage the scene of a major casualty incident in a military environment.
TRAINING AUDIENCE
Military officers, Warrant Officers and Senior NCOs or civilian equivalents of an arm likely to be involved in the management of major incidents. Officers from NATO, PfP or MD Nations assigned or likely to be selected for assignment to a NATO operational deployment. 
LEARNING OBJECTIVES

LO1: Understand the principles of Major Incident Management.
LO2: Be able to participate in the planning and conduct of support for a major casualty producing incident on a deployed operation.

PREREQUISITE

Be able to understand the pre-reading material and to return the pre-test MCQ before the start date of the course.

METHODOLOGY

Instructional Components:
- CSCATTT: Command, Safety, Communication, Assessment, Triage, Treatment, Transport,
- Table Top Exercises
- Practical Exercise Without Casualties
- Workshops
- Course assessment: during the course a practical test will take place; the participants will receive a certificate after the successful completion of the test.

LANGUAGE
English according to STANAG 6001 3.2.3.2
ATTENDANCE

Participants are expected to attend all course activities as the intense program does not allow for absences during the course. Late arrivals or early departures cannot be accepted.

Certificate for successful completion shall not be awarded in case absences are recorded.

REGISTRATION

Mandatory online registration should be completed as soon as possible, but no later than 8 weeks prior to the course.
The required minimum for course conduct is 8 participants, and the maximum 24 participants.

COURSE FEE

For sponsoring nations: 350 Euros
For non-sponsoring nations: 550 euros
All incurring costs, such as travel, accommodation and meals, are to be borne by participants.
This course is also available via the NATO ePRIME system; students from NATO partner nations can get reimbursed up to 100%.

RECERTIFICATION
MIMMS certification is valid for 4 years. For the recertification either undertake the ALSG approved one day course (refresher) or repeat the full MIMMS course.
CANCELLATION 

Cancellation of participation is only possible with a 3-weeks notice prior to the start date of the course. The entire course fee is due past the afore-mentioned period.
