FHP Course: MED-MS-31669
Purpose of the Course:
The course facilitates understanding of the management of a medical crisis in a multinational environment. To achieve that goal it uses case studies, classroom presentations, group discussion work, and simulation exercises. On completion of the course students will be able to:
a) Analyse and contribute to the NATO health surveillance system to shape and influence the decision-making process.
b) Manage the multinational response to an epidemic crisis from the operational level; analyse, prepare, and apply appropriate FHP measures.
c) Manage all health surveillance information available to shape and influence the decision-making process.
d) Evaluate Force Health Protection (FHP) measures in the context of an epidemic crisis in a multinational operation.
Intended Audience:
Medical Advisors, Preventive Medicine Staff and associated Medical Support personnel who may be deployed to support NATO Missions.
